Here are some pictures that were sent to me by John Kilmer, through my Huskidrive contact form. Here is the description John attached...
"These photos were taken in 1950 at the Five Acres Truckstop outside Albany NY, which is now a car dealership, Otto Cadillac, formally Otto Olds. My brother told me that it was a 1949 154WH, I always assumed it was a 260. My Father and my Uncle ran between New Britain CT and Detroit usually with 50,000 lb loads. My Father would leave Stottville NY at 1630 on Sunday and be in Detroit 0800 Monday, avoiding the scales in Silver Creek NY and Monroe MI."
