Pic of the Week 6-24-12
For this week I have another two for one special... I knew about this truck for a while but never had an opportunity to look at it. So last Monday I decided to take a ride at lunch and was able to get a good look at it! It's a 1970 N361TLY that is owned by Johnson's Towing in Scranton, PA. The owner built the truck when he was 18 or 19 and it has been garage kept ever since.
It was originally a tractor, but then converted into a dump for a short while. When the owner got hurt, Johnson's bought it and fabricated the boom from scratch. The truck has a double frame along with a 335 Cummins with a 5+4. This truck is in great shape. When I asked why they were working on the truck, I was told they were getting it ready for the 100 year Anniversary show in Cortland !!!
