Here is a pic that I received from Bill Allen through the Huskidrive contact form. Bill is one of the grandsons of Ernest Allen Jr. (Brud Allen)... In this pic Brud Allen is in the middle and Bill's Uncle Earl is on the right...
If anyone remembers, we briefly talked about Allen Coal back in 2009 when the question was asked about who had the largest collection of Brockways...

Last weekend a friend of mine stopped by the garage to visit and mentioned there was a Brockway near his house. He thought I knew of the truck, but to be honest I wasn't even sure where his house was. So I took a ride to look at it and it turns out it's one of Naro's old 361's that somebody extended the frame and used it for logging. I only took a few pics but the ID tag was missing. I took a quick look under the fender and it had a 318 in it.

For pic of the week, we have Joe D.'s latest addition to his fleet! It's a 1975 N758LL-89148 with a 230 Cummins and a 15 speed trans. This truck was actually listed for sale here on the message board and Joe was finally able to pick it up this past Saturday... Hopefully Joe can add some more info on the truck! More pics to follow!

For picture of the week I have a pic of Ryan Hoag's 1954 148W. This is the same truck Ryan asked for help with decoding the serial number under the Repairs and Restoration Help section. I had asked Ryan to email me pics of the truck and he sent at least a dozen...
Here is a great side shot of the truck... Notice the wood on the doors!!! This is the first time I have seen the Model 41 Cab (not the deluxe cab) with wood on the doors. My '54 148W is about 100 digits away from this truck, and it has the same gasketed windshield with a wood filled cab.
