As most of you know Emery brought his original Brockway surrey to Cortland this year. When I spoke with Emery on the Friday before the parade, he mentioned that a lady was bringing her horse to the museum to pull the surrey in the parade. Last week I received this pic from the contact form from the main website. The sender of the pic was asking if we could identify the year and model. I knew the truck was earlier than 1940 since it didn't have sealed beam headlights, but I forwarded it to Andy Hill for his help. Based on Andy's research, it is believed it's a mid 30's 195X model. I hope everyone enjoyed the long Holiday weekend! As most of you know we had our local truck show in Harford this past Sunday and Tom Kile brought his 1914 Brockway Model G. Here is a pic of the truck at the show. From what I understand, this is the oldest Brockway truck know in existence (serial # 105). Tom found this truck in Texas on Ebay and here is a pic of what he started with...
