Pic of the Week

Last week a good friend of mine, Paul, stopped by the garage to check out the progress on the 361. He also goes to the Harford show every year and remembered me talking about the Great American Truck Race (GATR) held at Pocono Raceway in the early 80’s… I can remember my Dad taking me there for the bobtail races but don’t remember any specifics… I think I was about 9 at the time. Well sure enough my friend Paul was there with his Dad probably at the exact same race, and he still had the original ‘souvenir program’.

I found these interesting pictures during a Google search. It looks like this truck is on New Zealand and is listed as a 1942 260A. I never heard of the 'A' designation before but I'll have to look...

So for this week we have another two for one special...

The word on the street is that today is Clarence's birthday, so what could be a better birthday present than having one of your trucks as pic of the week!

So here is his 1976 N760TL that he first brought to Cortland last year... This is a true survivor and really a nice truck.... Hopefully Clarence can fill us in on the details!

Here's an interesting pic I found on photobucket... It looks like a 257 that may have been a plow truck at one time due to its lack of headlights in the fenders... Does anyone know anything about this truck???
