Pic of the Week

Here is an interesting Brockway I thought everyone would appreciate. This was at Cortland this year and the attention to detail is very impressive. It is owned by Hugh Riehlman and had the following letter attached:

“This 1989 Parcar Golfcart was formerly owned by George Lang of Cortland, NY. George worked for Brockway for over 30 years. He retired in 1973 as print shop supervisor. George played golf until he passed away at age 95.

While at the show in Cortland, Russ Bachman approached me and said he had some pics he would like to show me of a 360 he just restored. After looking at the pics, I asked if he could mail me one along with some details of the truck. So sure enough last week I checked my mail and Russ had sent me a picture!

So here is a pic of Russ' 1968 360. The truck was purchased in 1986 at Bay Peterbilt in Warwick, Rhode Island. It currently has a 250 Cummins with a 15 speed fuller.

It's hard to believe that Cortland has come and gone this year already! With out of 135 trucks to pick from, this year one of my favorites was this 761. It's owned by Mike Paccito (diamondmike). Check out the hand lettering on the door. I also like the rear fenders that are painted and striped to match the truck.

My father and I always enjoy talking to Mike and his wife Carol at the Cortland Show and we were glad to see their truck this year! Hopefully Mike can add some more details!

Sorry for the delay... Things have been busy and we have been busy getting the 155W ready...

Anyway... Here is a '77 760 that is located in Michigan. It is lettered up as LSSI Railroad, or Lake Superior and Ishpeming. Sure would like to drive a truck like this someday!

Can anyone spot some of the unique features of this 760? (And yes, it had BUDS up front!!!) :)
