Pic of the Week

George Marushock stopped by my garage a few weeks ago to visit and we spent some time checking out the various pics of the week I had posted. Shortly after that, he dug up some pictures for me and spent some time writing a description on the back of each one. George and his brother Ed have great collection of Brockway's, from the 100 series to the 700 series, including show trucks and parts trucks and everything in between. Here is a start of what George gave me...

I hope everyone had a nice holiday! Before dinner yesterday we enjoyed a Yuengling Lager. As I was looking for a photo to use as pic of the week this morning , I stumbled on this clipping which believe was part of a factory brochure at one time. I believe it is a late 30's 260 since it has a chrome grill shell and chrome horn (near the grill). The truck is lettered up as 'W.H. Bevam, Pottsville PA'. Pottsville is less that 2 hours south of me and I have driven by the brewery numerous times on the way to Pottsville Hospital for work... Photo courtesy of the J. Alt collection.

Here is a pic of a 257 that I took at our local truck show in Harford, PA, back in 2000. I'm not sure who the owner is, but I've seen it before...

Here is a pic of a 361 that was given to me a while back. I believe the Marushock brothers own this truck now. Looks like a 361 with Huskidrive...

Here is a pic of a 1956 128WX that I took at the Valley Forge show in June of 2000. I saw this truck at a number of shows including Cortland but haven't seen it in a year or two. Below the pics are scans of a "Flash Card" that I picked up. I believe I remember this truck was for sale a while back...
