Here is a picture of a 1954 148W that I bought a few years ago as a parts truck. I found this truck behind a transmission shop off of Providence Avenue in Scranton, PA, only a few blocks away from the original Scranton Branch. The box was loaded with transmissions and various tranny parts. Someone had removed the head and only 2 of the pistons, #5 and #6 were left in the block (rusted solid). The head and the oil pan were missing....This truck was ordered by Primo Marianelli and was used to haul produce and groceries.

Here is a picture of a 260XW that was restored to nice, original condition. I took this picture at the Valley Forge National Show back in 2000. The truck was lettered up as "Louis Barber, Leesburg NJ".
I originally thought the truck was a '45 due to the lettering on the front fenders, but it has the larger 3 window cab on it that wasn't available until the late 40's. It is possible the cab was changed at one time. Ironically enough, there was another 260XW there at the same show that was a mid 40's truck but had a single gasketed windshield, so obviously the cab was changed at one time.
