Pic of the Week

Hard to believe that the Cortland show has come and gone already... The summer sure does fly by... Anyway, the nice thing about the Cortland show is that you see a lot of new trucks, etc.. This years show was no exception... So for Pic of the Week I have a picture of Richie Zigmont's 257 that he just finished in time for the show. This truck was one of his Father's original trucks and he wound up finding it in rough shape in a junkyard not far from home. Check out the visor and the bug shield he fabricated...

Wow, what a great weekend! The show on Saturday was incredible and I was overwhelmed by the number of people that stopped to talk to me about my truck! Thanks to everyone who stopped by to visit, and it was great to meet a number of people who visit this forum.

Glen Tolbert was kind enough to take a picture of myself and my family in front of my truck, and asked that I use it for pic of the week... Thanks Glen, I appreciate it!

Here are a few pics of a former DeFazio truck, a 1973 N358TL-80880. I know pics of this truck have been posted before, but just last week it was moved out to the road with a for sale sign on it. The truck has a 250 (?) Cummins in it with the roof mounted Kysor AC unit. It still has the original decal in the window. The truck is fairly (very...) rusty but does have fiberglass fenders on it.

It is sitting along route 435 in front of RLE Enterprise. The phone number is 570-842-4051. i just called and they are asking $3500 OBO.

Here is a factory pic, number 81441. This picture was taken at the Scranton Branch which was located off of Providence Street. I believe you can see Weston Field in the background. This pic was given to me by Jim Morrel of Morells towing in Scranton. He was picking up a '38 Chrysler that I had in my garage. I fixed some wiring issues with it and he can with the owner to pick it up. After showing him my 155W and my collection of parts trucks, he mentioned he had a picture I would like... So here it is...
